Strategic Alliances with U.S. Companies
STIS has formed a strategic alliance with Technology Catalysts International Corporation (TCI), a Virginia-based technical consulting firm, to strengthen and complement our capabilities in serving a global clientele. TCI is skilled in detailed technological assessment, market research and licensing facilitation with intermediary chemicals, polymers, pharmaceuticals and health-care products.

STIS partnered with California-based SAFER Systems to work together toward enhancing technical software capabilities. SAFER Systems owns Trace®, an advanced software system designed to detect the atmospheric discharge of hazardous substances (e.g. phosgene, HCN, HF, chlorine, ammonia) in chemical plants and laboratories, distribution vehicles, and storage containers. Trace® software simulates density distribution, displaying a map of consequential damage, calculated with real-time weather data (e.g. temperature, wind velocity and direction) in order to mitigate damage in the event of a chemical release. We worked jointly with SAFER Systems to complete a Japanese version of Trace® software technology which will be available soon for licensing in Japan and in neighboring countries through STIS.
